Love, Sweet Love

Molly, one of our favorite Chix here at Adornit, made this cute word placque. She custom ordered the vinyl she wanted, and used two papers from our new Teen line. It's perfect for Valentine's Day, but we think it works for every day.

Adornit supplies:

21819 Crayon Stripe 12x12 (2)
21825 Blue Cotton Candy 12x12 (2)
51011 Personalized Name Placque (wood and custom vinyl)

1.  Paint the edges of the wood to match a color in the paper. (Molly chose brown)

2.  Cut papers to fit the wood boards. Adhere with glue or decoupage medium. (Molly cut the wood a little shorter so the quote would fit better. Let dry. If desired, sand the edges of wood and paper for a fun altered look. Glue small board to the center of large board.

3.  Apply vinyl lettering. See Adornit Chix catalog for vinyl instructions, or log on to our website, go to "teen ideas" and find them in the online catalog (or email us for help - teen@adornit.com).

4.  Embellish with Adornit embellishments of your choice, or use whatever you have laying around, like red rick-rack, for instance : )

A Cure for the Winter Blahs

Got the winter blahs? How about a ScrapBash!

In our AdornitChix catalog, Top Ten Ideas for Teens, we've highlighted two groups of girls who had scrap/craft parties in Utah and Illinois. It's easy -- just order your favorite kits -- they come ready-to-make with pictures, instructions, everything you need. You could even get a catalog for all your friends and let them pick their favorite project ahead of time. Get them at your local scrapbook store or email us and teen@adornit.com and we'll get one right out to you. Then get everyone together and party on : )

That's right! We want you to share your talents with us here on our blog, My Space, our Gallery, and Idea Books. Here's the scoop:

• Email 3 scrapbook projects to teen@adornit.com. Be sure you give us your name, phone number, and email address. Hint, using Adornit products gives you extra 'brownie points'.
• You must be ages 10 - 21 years old (anyone in the world is eligible)
• Deadline for submissions are February 14th (it's an easy day to remember)

The Loot: At the end of February we will choose five participants who will win a bunch of FREE Adornit Products. Then you'll make even more cool projects and we will post them for the world to see.
